99. OBSESSED

Today it’s been a whole funny day; there have been just 3 classes, because apparently some teachers had a dinner last night and they got sick, so: half free day! Esther has been talking to Wendy about Jay, and she’s tried to help her stop that obsession with him, that she can’t be all the time thinking about what could happen between them, if ever, or how to react, what to say? so.. the typical Esther thing. Afterwards, Imogen was joining and began to say such silly weird things that she was just coming out with!! That Esther had to tell her off and then again another kind of argument, could this be so common? Obviously Wendy couldn’t believe all that, so, tired of that, they went home. Then, there she was Esther, in her bedroom, thinking again about Jay, so much, that she’s even phoned him 4 times! Until he took it, how embarrassing! At least she has listened to his voice today. In her way to the leaving room, the family was watching the football game, so unbelievable! All of them? Her sisters hate football! And just because the local team has won, there’s been like a celebration. Honestly, this is Esther’s favourite part of her family, no matter how hard her father and sisters yell, the food, very well made from her mother, was the only moment of little peace, all of them, there, quiet, eating and enjoying the meals and dessert.

98. IN THE END, FUNNY

Esther has decided to write a love letter to Jay, because she found out his address and all his information. She thought that maybe was a very weird craziness but Wendy dared her, so then she showed her that she could do it. When she was about to send it to him, started thinking that he might see her, and obviously that could be very embarrassing. And this is exactly what has happened on Saturday, so Esther tried not to look at him. Besides Imogen has gone to say a couple of things to George and he spit on her face. Freaking amazing!!! And even denying they had kissed, Esther knew he was lying, because she was there! For another hand Luke’s friends were cheering Maureen up, they didn’t expect anything like that, even one of the guys started to flirt with her, saying that Luke was an idiot for not worthing her, and saying she was very beautiful. There has been also a moment that they saw Stelle, and told her about Ivor and Molly , and she didn’t know anything of that, who also informed Esther that she was going out with the girl she was with more than the others, because they got tired of so many dramas (duh, obvious) and they sometimes date guys who are friends, like it’s something common. Well, yes, she might be right, but if you don’t like a guy at the beginning, and after some months you like him, what happened there? (Again Esther just thinking all this to herself) Going home, Esther has met a couple of boys, who were nice but they wanted to go with her to her pad, but she didn’t trust them, so she told them to leave. How strange things can happen in a night, Esther is glad, that even though she gets drunk, she knows what she’s doing, like letting some strangers go with her, when she is totally capable of going alone…

92. IMOGEN’S BIRTHDAY

In spite of the bad situation with Imogen, today is her birthday, so let’s celebrate it! However, Esther stood her up because she wanted to meet at the Sylvan, and there they were arguing, saying to Imogen that she was not going, she felt stupid going there. 10 minutes later she called again, apparently she was wrong, and was not a party in the pub, whatever… So, in the end she met with her other friends and they hung out, following Luke and Jay…so fun! When she run into Archy, he couldn’t stop laughing with her, because definitely when Esther is drunk she’s really fun. He was with Alan, and the girls totally understood at the moment Imogen’s crush for him. So there they were spending the time ‘til Imogen showed up all mad, she spent more than an hour waiting for her in the pub, and Esther was answering her that she’d already told her that she was not going, whether it was a party or not… Just afterwards they saw Becky with her boyfriend, who had a surprisingly relation fighting and arguing all the time, Lester said to Esther that was common, that they were all the time like that, “- ok! If you like that…( Esther really hates arguing and all that stuff, but she could see while the life was passing by, that some people actually like arguing…-“ Obviously they ended up talking about Derek, even though she doesn’t want to know anything about him, and his stories with her girls, drugs, or whatever…

82. REMINDING THE SUMMER

When Imogen arrived to class and saw Alan, she totally fell in love, is not smart or anything the girl… ;-) The amazing thing is that she’s not in the same class as Esther, but she doesn’t care. Esther has even told her that she doesn’t want to play truants this course, because she’s focus on passing everything, and Imogen laughed at her. Besides, today at History class, the teacher has told her to leave, what an embarrassing moment! ‘Cause Imogen didn't want to leave, explaining that it’s her right to be there. Esther is beginning to think that she’s not going to meet anyone else. Lately she feels tied down, what a summer she’s had! So, saying all this to Wendy: 1st, Esther went to private tuitions to pass the subjects she failed last course, and there was Imogen, just like that! All the time talking, the teacher got on her nerves. 2nd, every time they were going out Imogen scared all the boys. 3rd, they met one Saturday Maureen’s boyfriend’s friends, especially one friend: Peter. He was good looking and both of them liked him, and when he had to pick one, chose Esther, and Imogen got mad for 3 weeks, so finally the couple couldn’t date anymore because he didn’t want to be in the middle. But before all this, Imogen used to leave impolite messages in her house’s answering machine, and obviously her family was freaking out. In the end with the excuse that he was going on holidays, they split up. Wendy was staggered with all this amazing information.

69. THE DARK SIDE

Today there weren't all the assingments, Imogen hasn't come, so Esther's gone with Stelle for a walk, who's been thinking to make a sèance. Apparently things are going quite bad with his boyfriend and she was sad. They've gone to a school a bit far away and there they've been enjoying that time, even though it's a bit shivering, because they were, both alone, in the dark, with sudden movements of trees around and even the bin fell down. During the sèance very weird things there were showed, but they'll see if it's true or not. The most strange thing of all, and real, is that Aidan phoned her and met together, until that moment Esther didn't realise how close they were. What has been even more surprising is that they were going to the premises to drink alcohol and smoke joints, but Esther was not in that mood,so she left “seriously??? At 6 pm on Tuesday???” Walking home she's met Wendy, who was with another girl, enjoying her day off, and told her gossips about Imogen, that Esther didn't know at all. Maybe that's the reason she's so unloving. Esther writes down this in her diary: she feels lucky for having friends, and Imogen is very trustful, but sometimes she has doubts of her and the rest of her friends, how to know if they're good friends? Of course, they have lots of fun, but there are other things apart from that, like, for example these gossips, somebody is saying at school that she's lesbian, is is true??? It could be so weird, why is not saying it? And people call her froggy-face, but even from childhood. That's quite funny to Esther, and it shouldn't, but she does, and doesn't feel like they're that close anymore. It's ironic, because she also lived horrible things in her childhood, teasings, jokes, and so on, but that's back, maybe she could ask her things, but probably, that's something you never say to anyone, it's really embarrasing.

63. NOTHING BUT JOKES

This last week has been awkward, evrybod explaining things to Esther, Stelle was disgusted for everything that happened with Franky (Esther still doesn't understand why they are together), what's more, her father found a condom in the premises, so he's forbidden her to use that place, so, the girls have to search another place to drink. At class the teacher has told her off, just like that, and finally she changed Esther of desk, at the end of the classroom. That was so unfair, it was Rud and Hugh's fault, all the time fooling around, joining Adam later, who was in the other side. Of course, all that is on her marks and folders. She went back home with Wendy, complaining about all those things, and she tries to calm Esther down, for a while, this means eating as most as possible, “ you feel so good afterwards” (chocolate doughnuts, snacks, sweets,...). When she felt better, she went home. She had an amazing dream that night: romantic and funny moments with Adam, which finished weirdly though, he had a green face!

56. ALTERNATIVE PLANNES

Is Friday and Esther is meeting Alvin, but is weird, he doesn’t give a damn about she says, at last there are Stelle and Ge’ne, he’s a little full of himself. So, esther doesn’t think it could be a long story between them. Later Imogen shows up, telling Esther things of Wayne and that he likes her. What??!When!!!and the most important question, how that happened??, they never talk to each other, that’s so unbelievable to her that she decides to go and see him, so tired of Alvin and Co., and both girls have gone to the Sylvan. They have been talking about everything that have happened, forgiving each other. 2 hours later the pub was closing, not knowing anything about the interesting guys, starting a conversation with the hot bartender: Ron(very well cut hazel hair, mystery blue eyes, great smile...), who is also very nice. In the other part of the city the rest of the group of girls were hanging out, especially Alvin with Cindy, apparently, flirting with her...

39. Mugged

Esther used to go camping in the summertime, because she hates going to her mother's town, in New Mexico, so small, so stupid kids for her, so that was the better idea to avoid the other option, and her mother applied by her name. Now that Esther is enjoying for the first time her youth life, she wants to be all the time with her friends, and today they're going to the fun-fair, Yehaaaaa! She loves it. They've met Austin and Aaron, they joined the girls, even Austin got a teddy bear for Esther, according to her friends he's flirting with her, ohhhhh, that was so nice from his part, it was the first time a boy gave her a gift, or something like that The thing is that he's a little weird, but kind and good-looking, she knows about Becky, but they're not as good friends. Anyway, time is over, they had lunch and now, tired, but at night,again another meeting. Tonight Ge'ne came with other girl, who is by the way, too much weird: Imogen, The thing is that this girl wanted to see a boy, and the other ones had something to do, so Esther had to go with Imogen. Anyway, she messed Esther, because she was 30 min. late, due to her meeting with her mother in her company, Esther was wondering:"Why you have to meet her right now?"-but no answer. When she arrived, they went into the pub and the boy was not there, the Imogen asked her why was she not keeping an eye while she was outside the bar??She didn't even know who was the one?!!!!! Imogen forgot all, talking with the waiter, leaving her outside alone, who the hell thinks this girl is she?Ok, maybe she's tall, but that brown-blonde short curly?hair, with that potato nose..., and that 60's clothes....!!!Come'on, did she come from the 60's by a future car???When Esther left the bar, Imogen called her madly, they had to meet her friends! What a horrible beginning for that night. Suddenly, few minutes later, looking for her friends, they've met, and they begun to yell at her, "What???????'Are you kidding????" She didn't believe all this, all was Imogen's fault. Ge'ne was mad, because she wanted to go back with Allan, and Esther was disturbing, and the guys, right there, were so scared that they left. In the end, even the girls went back home, except Stelle, she's the only one who understands her, and when they were talking, about all that, they got mugged. Thanks to God Esther didn't have a lot of money, but the gypsies stole her rings, earrings and the necklace, all that she loved, and even punched them, just because of the bad faces, what they wanted??Them to be smiling??
